Removing a Microsoft Email Account from Outlook

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to remove an email account from Outlook.  You can optionally download a PDF of this article at the bottom of the page.

 

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.


2. In the Start Menu Search, type Control Panel and click the blue icon that appears, or press Enter.

 

 

3. In the top right corner of the Control Panel window, type Mail in the Control Panel Search bar and press Enter.


4. Click the Mail (Microsoft Outlook) icon.

 

 

5. In the Mail Setup – Outlook window, click on the Email Accounts button.

 

 

6. In the Account Settings window, select the anseradvisory.com email.


7. Click the Remove button located just above the list area.


8. Select Yes to accept and continue

 

 

9. Click Close, then exit all Outlook windows. When you re-open Outlook, the email account will no longer appear
